Friday December 9 Pioneer Valley Ballet Presents The Nutcracker Sensory Safe December 9th at 4pm, 50th Anniversary Special December 9th at 7:00pm, Weekend Performances December 10th and 11th at 1pm and 4:30pm Private presale will begin October 26th at 10:00 AM for Pioneer Valley performers, staff, and crew with promo code. Tickets go on sale to the public on NOVEMBER 4th at 10:00 AM! Celebrating its 50th year, Pioneer Valley Ballet presents The Nutcracker, an annual favorite at The Academy of Music. Each year, PVB's Nutcracker is reinvented by Artistic Directors Maryanne Kodzis and Thomas Vacanti, celebrating the history of the company and the tradition of Clara's magical story. In addition to our own PVB dancers and members of the local community, this year's performance will feature guest artists from Carolina Ballet for the first time since 2019. Join us as we celebrate 50 years of Pioneer Valley Ballet! The Friday, December 9th show at 4pm will be a Sensory Safe performance! The Academy will hold all shows at full capacity and this show will require no additional COVID precautions or requirements. Click here to read our health and safety policy. This event is participating in the Card to Culture Program! They will be offering 10 balcony seats at a discounted price of $10 to any patrons with a valid EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare card.
