Celebrate Independence Day in Amherst! Join the Town of Amherst for our annual celebration on Thursday, July 3rd, at UMass Amherst's McGuirk Alumni Stadium South Lawn. Get ready for a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the night sky! The festivities kick off at 5:30 PM and include live music from local musicians and the Amherst Community Band.
Satisfy your cravings with delicious food from a variety of food trucks. Adults 21+ can enjoy the expanded White Lion Brewing Company Beer Garden. Plus, there are free family-friendly activities with giant lawn games, and NEW this year, inflatable fun at the Dallas Mall (pay-to-play) with FunTown Entertainment. Bring your blankets and chairs.
This event is FREE! (Food, beverages, and novelty items available for purchase; donations gratefully accepted). Rain date: July 6th.
