“Memorias” is based on my memories of Cuba as a young child and is in three movements: Prologo, inspired by Afro-Cuban drums, Atardecer (en Varadero), Sunset in Varadero, walks on a beautiful Cuban beach, and Carnaval and its excitement with lots of dancing and singing. – Odaline de la Martinez, composer

It will draw upon my experience as a folk and popular music performer while experimenting with the ensemble’s sound to create a unique musical experience.” – Sonia Ivette Morales-Matos, composer
“Midnight Rumba” – Luis Quintana, composer
