Vocal Improvisation

Dive into the art of creative play using the human voice as our instrument as one gets introduced to the world of vocal improvisation by using various techniques, exercises and song forms from India, Bali, Africa and the contemporary vocal improvisation tradition a la Bobby McFerrin and Rhiannon. We’ll also learn some vocal repertoire by the composer himself that will incorporate improvisation as well. All levels of singers are welcome.
