The Mount (2 Plunkett St., Lenox, MA 01240)

The Wanda Houston Band returns to the Mount, a quartet performing music of the 1930s through 1970s with a blend of rhythm, blues, jazz and soul.

The Mount will present live music from globally-inspired jazz to indie blues in a beautiful outdoor setting, every Thursday from July 14 to August 18.

She has toured with Motown legends Mary Wells, Martha and the Vandellas and The Platters and performed in New York City from Broadway to film to RCA’s recording of William Finn’s Infinite Joy.

Today, as the lead vocalist for Heth, Bradley and Houston, the Wanda Houston Band and Big and Bigger, she also lends her talent to regional projects including the Convergence Progect, Mothership Trio, The Vermont Jazz Center Big Band and the NOLA inspired Rejuvenators.
