Each of the art works on view started with a cyanotype photogram of marine debris collected from wrack lines –– the natural lines of seaweed and flotsam left by high tide. The images are then developed with various combinations of acrylic paint, oil pastel, ink, graphite, and collage. This series experiments with intuitive approaches, aiming to discourage overthinking in the creative process.
