Writers Read ft. Jovonna Van Pelt, Brian Mooney, and Wilson Roberts

Writers Read is a monthly series of local writers reading their own work, organized by Lindy Whiton of The LAVA Center. The event is about 75 minutes long and includes a variety of writing genres.

Reading in December will be:

JOVONNA VAN PELT is a Greenfield-based writer, happily retired from the worlds of puppetry and commerce. She is the author of Unrelated Questions, a book of poetry from Human Error Publishing and an upcoming collection of short stories, Merry and Bright: Christmas Memories.

BRIAN MOONEY has published essays, fiction and poetry in several literary journals including Alaska Quarterly Review. He is the creator of the popular Storymatic family of creative prompts and games amongst other creations.

WILSON ROBERTS is longtime professor of English and poetry at Greenfield Community College, author of several mysteries and a well-loved member of the community.

There will be a short question and answer period at the end. The event is free to the public — donations to The LAVA Center are appreciated.
