We're moving Americana Jam Night to one Monday night a month and adding a new pre-jam workshop called The Slow Jam to help more folks jump in and play with confidence. 7:00–8:00PM: The Slow Jam (Workshop at The Parlor Room) Each week, we'll focus on two songs, posted in advance on our website so participants can listen, learn the chords, and come prepared. Led by local musician and educator Josh Ballard, the Slow Jam is a welcoming, supportive space to learn how jamming works in real life: how to follow chord progressions, take breaks, back each other up, and keep the rhythm moving. This hour is ideal for newer players or anyone who wants to build confidence before jumping into the open jam. It’s hands-on, low-pressure, and designed to help you grow as a player. 8:00–10:00PM: Open Jam (at The Parlor Room) After the Slow Jam, a full-on Americana Jam Night begins, free and open to all. Bring your instrument, your voice, or just come to hang and listen. No sign-up needed.
