Dancenjoy is a community-centered Latin dance organization dedicated to creating joy, connection, and confidence through music and movement. Founded by internationally trained dancer, instructor, DJ, and percussionist McCoy Jamison, Dancenjoy makes Latin social dance welcoming and accessible for people of all backgrounds, ages, and experience levels.
Rooted in traditions from the Caribbean, Latin America, and Africa, Dancenjoy offers classes, workshops, social dance events, and cultural experiences focused on Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Merengue, and related Afro-Latin dance forms. Our approach removes intimidation from dance by breaking movements down clearly, emphasizing musicality, partner connection, and the simple joy of moving together.
Beyond teaching, Dancenjoy produces vibrant community dance events in collaboration with local venues, breweries, musicians, and cultural organizations. These events often blend DJed music with live percussion, social dancing, and inclusive instruction, transforming dance floors into spaces for cultural exchange, wellness, and human connection.
Dancenjoy also creates digital content and online learning experiences that extend the reach of social dance beyond physical spaces, supporting mental health, physical well-being, and community building through the arts.
