Julie Henderson

Julie Henderson grew up in Massachusetts, and received her BFA in Painting and Art History from Massachusetts College of Art in 1993 and her MA in Art History from the University of Delaware in 2004. She has lived in Boston, Somerville, Philadelphia, and Austin and currently lives in the Berkshires in Massachusetts. Early in her career, as an educator, she taught art and art history to students of a vast range of ages. As an artist, Julie has always worked in oil painting and drawing in various media. She has been part of several exhibits, including recent ones at galleries in New Haven, CT, Dover, NH, and Gloucester and Watertown, MA. She also participates in her local Berkshires artistic community by helping to organize exhibits such as Eyes on Art Town in Williamstown and an ongoing series of artist talks called Cultural Collab.
