Using an open-ended range of visual media, my work is an exploration into the language of dreams. I take a broader conception of dreaming to consider the multitude of ways in which symbolism, memory, and emotion influence the experience of reality and self. My process favors introspection and perception over systematic or critical approaches, and a choice of materials rooted in their ability to reflect subjective states.
