Natalia Bernal, vocalist / cantora / composer / producer / educator
Natalia Bernal, originally from Chile , based in the United States since 2003, performs and writes in Portuguese, Spanish and English. She has released three Latin Jazz albums and one EP: La Voz de Tres, Sueños y Delirios, En Diablada and Yo Soy. Throughout her music Bernal shares a window into her life experiences as a woman, life in the Atacama Desert, and social justice. Her songs are inspired by various Latin American rhythms like huayno candombe, samba and bossa nova, as well as the North American folk traditions like blues, swing, jazz and Latin Jazz and has shared the stage with musicians like Paquito De Rivera, Danilo Perez, Gloria Stephan, Israel Cachao Lopez, Ruben Blades and Paul McCandles.
Hailed by NPR’s spokesperson Felix Contreras, from Alt Latino, as one of the "Top 10Albums of 2025" on NPR, Natalia has earned special recognition with her band, performing at renowned venues and festivals such as Blue Note New York, Tempe Center for the Arts, Kuumbwa Jazz, Phoenix Jazz Festival, Berklee Performing Arts Center, Freshgrass Festival at MassMoca, Linde Center at Tanglewood, and many more.
Natalia’s most recent EP will be released on her European Tour March of 2026 featuring her Jazz Quintet and strings.
