ArtsHub Hosts Free Workshop to Help Artists Get Found Online

by ArtsHub Team

The ArtsHub of Western MA is hosting 'Be The Artist People Find' on Nov 7, 2026. This workshop will help artists and arts organizations leverage the new tools of online discoverability, using their ArtsHub profile as a foundation.

The way people find art and art experiences is changing. Not long ago, someone looking for a painter or a gallery would do a Google search and scroll through a number of links to find the right one.

Today people search on multiple platforms. They ask Maps what’s nearby, search on Instagram or TikTok, read an AI-written summary at the top of search results, or put the question straight to ChatGPT and get a short list of names.

The artists that make those lists tend to be the ones with clear, consistent information in places these tools read and trust.

That shift is the reason for our next workshop. On Saturday, November 7, from 1 to 3 PM, ArtsHub is hosting ‘Be the Artist People Find’, a free session on getting found online, and on how your ArtsHub profile can be the foundation of more online visibility.

A hub for discoverability

ArtsHub had more than 25,000 engaged visits last year, and most came through search. Artists and organizations with complete profiles give those visitors, and the tools sending them, something real to work with. An empty profile gives them nothing.

What we’ll cover

We’ll show you how people actually find artists on Google, Maps, and AI tools like ChatGPT, and what separates a profile that gets seen from one that is invisible. We’ll also look at how your ArtsHub profile anchors everything else you do online, from your website to your social accounts.

Bring a laptop, a short bio, and your best images, as we will demonstrate how to build or refresh your profile.

Who should come

Artists at every stage are welcome, and so are arts organizations. If you already have a profile you haven’t touched in a while, come update it.

Residents of South Hadley and Holyoke get priority for spots. Everyone else is welcome too.

Reserve your spot

The workshop is free, but space is limited. Reserve your place. Register by October 30, 2026.

This workshop is funded by the Holyoke LCC and the South Hadley LCC. It will take place at Holyoke Media, 1 Court Avenue, Holyoke.
