Call for art: Theme in Yellow

Although the title of this show – Theme in Yellow – is inspired by the poem by Carl Sandburg (1878-1967), this show encourages broad interpretation of the title! Open to all mediums.

As part of this exhibition, we will invite local poets to either create a new poem inspired by a selected artwork or pair an existing poem with one. Poetry will be hung with work! The project will culminate in a poetry reading held at the gallery. This show will be juried by Robin Reynolds.

Call deadline is August 7th by midnight. The show will be on display at ArtWorks Gallery (69 Main St, Ware, MA) from September 20th to October 25th, 2025.
