CALL FOR ARTISTS – Water Conservation & Resiliency Public Art Project

The City of Boise invites artists or artist teams to submit qualifications for a site-specific public art installation located at Camel’s Back Park at the base of the Foothills in Boise, Idaho. The project’s purpose is to raise public awareness about the region’s contemporary water challenges along with conservation and resiliency efforts. We are seeking dynamic, experiential public art that will harmonize with the natural environment, inspire small, meaningful actions, community connection.
Here’s what you need to know:
Who can apply: Artists or artist teams (nationwide)
What you’ll do: Create a meaningful, educational, and environmentally conscious work that connects people to Boise’s water systems
Budget: $165,000 commission (plus $1,000 honorarium for up to 3 finalists to develop concept proposals)
Deadline: November 13, 2025, 1:00 p.m. MST
