"Somewhere Together" - A Musical Short Film and Social Impact Campaign

Somewhere Together is a community-building initiative driven by art. With a team of over 30 people, we’re producing a musical short film exploring community & identity in the context of an individualistic society. We believe that the best way to solve community problems is with the community. Through our Social Impact Campaign, consisting of educational and interactive screenings/talkbacks, we hope to make collaborative problem-solving more of a conscious effort.

Alongside our Fiscal Sponsor, 16 Lyrics [501(c)(3)], we'll use the film as a conversation starter to initiate talkbacks with our 6 directors/writers, producers, activists, artists, & other community leaders at schools and public venues. This will focus primarily in the Western Massachusetts area with additional events around New York City and in Ithaca, New York. Our conversations will explore the communities and issues we examine in the film while simultaneously generating greater communal understanding of each other and how we rely on one another.
