Artist / Creative (Individual)

My name is Bella Vendetta, a 40 year old multi media visual artist living and working in Western MA.

I've been working professionally as an artist for 18 years and spent alot of time in front of the camera, and winning awards as a oerformer, being contracted by mainstream companies, and drawn and painted as a model, before turning my passions into active project productions.

I strive to make at least one really good film per year!  And have had many of my short films featured in film festivals, distributed by other studios, written about and reviewed.  And my feature film "The Training of Poe" made it into several film festivals, won an award, was nominated for more, was written about in the Huffington Post, screened in colleges and Universities and currently has a student writing their senior thesis on it.  The followup film "Perfect Pig" was shot virtually, pandemic style and was released early 2021.  Has already been picked up by two distribution companies, and included in an online LGBTQ film festival.

My writing has been published internationally and locally.  As a music and band interviewer and reviewer for in print mmagazines such as: Burning Angel Mag, Hails and Horns Magazine, as well as online metal blogs such as Ghost Cult Magazine, Invisible Oranges and many more.

I have written for tattoo magazines, gentlemen's magazines, dating and relationship blogs and many more.  I wrote the forward to photography book "Gagged" by Julie Simone, am former editor at large for Old Nick Magazine, personal care advice columnist for Mirage Magazine, and have been a contributing writer to multiple other publications.

I have also done alot of media, including being interviewed and quoted on television, books, and online articles.  Most notably on National geographic, MTV, PlayboyTV, Western Mass News and more.

I frequently get the chance to teach, and guest lecture about. arange of topics from, sexuality, queer culture in the Berkshires, safe sex, consent culture, understanding sex work and sex work laws, human trafficking, making a living as a content creator, the importance of queerporn and erotic cinema, cross contamination and disinfection on set, and much, much more.  Notably I have gotten the chance to speak at esteemed instiutions such as:

Rutgers, UMASS Amherst, MCLA, Berkshire Community College, SIenna College, SUNY Albany, Bennington College, Beth ISrael Hospital, Civil LIberties and Public Policy Conference, 5 College Queer Conference, Hamoshire County Sheriff's Office, New England Harm Reduction Coalition and many others.

I have been working as a contracted figure model for many New England schools, art groups, and comissioned privately by artists for over a decade.  Involved with the infamous Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School as a model in NYC before helping bring these burlesque stylized life drawing events to the Berkshires.  I ran a successful branch of Dr. Sketchy's 413 live themed life drawing events for over. ayear before covid took away those opportunities.  I hope to bring back life drawing to North Berkshire County in 2022

When covid hit, I lost my studio and offices in North Adams, MA and had to change up my focus.  I began working seriously on my photography and began making 2 concurrent photo essays, depicting sex workers in New England during covid.

These photosets were released weekly over 2020, with some still being leaked today! And have been included in art blogs, websites, virtual galleries and sold as prints.  I am hoping for an in person gallery show of these works in 2022.

I released a book of my photography work with a specific model and muse recently, and have limited edition copies still available.

Currently enrolled in herbal medicine schooll, making herbal potions, creations and personal care items with ethically sourced and foraged plants from the Berkshire Mountains and selling them online and in person at Wild Soul River in Williamstown, MA.
