CIDADE is New England's premier band for tangos and latin jazz. Our sound and professionalism is honed through constant gigging in clubs, dances, restaurants, and private events.
CIDADE performs tangos for dancing and tangos for listening from Argentina, bossa nova from Brazil, and Latin Jazz standards from Cuba and Puerto Rico. In addition we perform jazz classics by Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, and Count Basie, as well as original comopositions.
We have a glamourous presentation fronted by vocalist/ compoer Jennifer Isaacs and violinist Amy Bateman.
We can perform in formats ranging from a duo of violin and accoustic guitar, up to a six-piece dance band featuring vocals and organ.
