Arts Center

CitySpace is where arts meet community. Located in Old Town Hall, a historic building (1869) on Main Street in Easthampton, MA, it's  an arts center with galleries and performance and community event space.  CitySpace provides affordable  space for artists and producers in its 80-seat/175 standing Blue Room, a flexible incubator space. Tenants of the Old Town Hall include Big Red Frame and Easthampton City Arts. Both offer gallery exhibitions by Western Massachusetts artists and beyond open to the public year round. 

MISSION

The mission of CitySpace is to restore, preserve, and manage Old Town Hall as a vital center for the arts for Western Massachusetts and the city of Easthampton.

CitySpace is preparing to redevelop the second floor into a modern performance venue. The second-floor performance space provides a 3500-square foot / ~350-seat arts and entertainment space for Easthampton and the broader region. This venue will be equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, as well as flexible staging and seating. This space will be fully rentable to independent nonprofits, commercial entities and arts and cultural organizations. The goal of CitySpace is to create and manage a state of the art community performance space that is also affordable and accessible. CitySpace recognizes a unique opportunity to provide a platform for public engagement and a dynamic cultural resource.
