Since 1988, Tamboura Productions has been home to Caribe-vibe folkrockers Tamboura, the electracoustic duo TuTu Much, cigar box blues boys The Introv3rts, and guitar-slinger/songwriter/cigar box guitar maker, David Reed.David Reed is the founder and focal point of Tamboura Productions. He holds a B.Mus.Ed from the Hartt College of Music and an MA in psychology from Antioch NE Graduate School and was a founding member (1971) of New England's preeminent jam-band, Max Creek who continues to record and actively perform fifty years later! He has taught in both public and private schools, consulted with schools, hospitals and businesses, and he has been the sole proprietor of Tamboura Productions since 1989 and Dr. Ea$y's Sonic Boxes since 2010.David is humbled and appreciative of the many fine musicians that have been - and many still are - affiliated with Tamboura Productions over the years, including Sam Earnshaw, Mary Knysh, Dan Broad, Terry Hall, Charlie Tokarz, Steve Ide, Zack Zanecchia, John Suters, John Haddad, Scott McKenney and Conor Meehan. Several of these Tamboura Productions artists have joined David in performances and residencies throughout the US, England, Italy, Switzerland, Bulgaria and the West Indies.Our fees, dependent upon length of performance and necessity of transportation/accommodations/equipment costs, typically begin at around $300.00 and can range up to $3500.00+ depending upon size of the requested ensemble and the aforementioned costs.
