Mission: To encourage, create, and foster appreciation of and support for the fine arts and crafts in our region through ongoing exhibitions, education, demonstrations by prominent artists and crafters, schlorships for art students, and other activities.
MoNEA, Museum of New England Art: Beginning with the seed of local collectors, the Deerfield Valley Art Association has begun work toward establishing a museum in Franklin County for which it plans to acquire, preserve, exhibit, and promote the art, craft, and design created, by artists born or working significantly in the New England States. To this end, DVAA maintains a working committee and a fund for the ultimate purpose of housing current DVAA member exhibitions and the historical collections of the Museum of New England Art. An online Museum Gallery is a first step in establishing the Museum, and will launch in October of 2106.
