I have always been a writer but after college, I realized that it would take actual effort and by then I had read enough to want to make work that equaled the craft of the genre's integrity. Since then, I have been published twice, and am not banking on that as I want to continue working to improve my voice. I have won awards for my music video "Pretty Pose Particles" which was filmed by Easthampton Public Media. I have also starred in "Stovebird" which I cowrote with Ryan Arnold, funded by Northampton Public Media.
I had a long history of standup comedy, but it got too over-saturated for me, and was always at bars, and it seemed sad to be trying to make people laugh as an act and so now I infuse my hip hop lyrics with skits, physical comedy. I also write screenplays that have been read live, and work closely with LAVA Arts Center in Greenfield, and up and coming Nirvana NOHO Wellness Arts Sharing Hub. Originally, I wanted to be an actor, but realized I did not have great control over my face, and that made my writing better, instead.
