Firecrow Handwovens

Artist / Creative (Individual)

Master weaver Kathy Litchfield designs, weaves and profesionally finishes handwoven clothing on 8- and 16-harness floor looms in her rural studio. One-of-a-kind pieces are woven in cotton, rayon chenille, alpaca/silk, tencel and/or bamboo, in colorways inspired by nature and with stories to share. Kathy weaves scarves, shawls, ponchos, wraps, vests (with pockets!), hats and also makes sewn clutch purses with rayon chenille and rayon fabric. She sells her work at high-end juried shows throughout the Northeast, including with the American Craft Council and League of NH Craftsmen. Kathy earned her master's in weaving certification in May, 2018 from the Hill Institute in Northampton, MA.
