Ken Harris

Artist / Creative (Individual)

Actor and playwright Ken Harris of Springfield, Ma invites audiences into the absurd, hilarious, and deeply human underbelly of retail life with his solo show Foes of a Minimum-Wage Guard. This fast-paced blend of sharp comedy and poignant drama follows a complacent retail guard thrust into a nightmare shift under a tyrannical supervisor, where he’s forced to face both corporate insanity and his own buried courage. Directed with clarity and focus, this 65-minute play offers a raw, relatable portrait of service-industry grind and inner resilience.

With a career spanning theater, film, and puppetry, Ken has earned accolades for his innovative approach to socially relevant themes. His previous work includes the award-winning short film That Gone Darn Scam and the comedy solo play Cyber Brats. He is also the screenwriter of the indie film, "A Mind Made For Murder", produced by Springfield Mass Studios and Cellar Door Productions.
