Lupinewood Institute operates as a collective of collectives that support the conception, growth, and development of community projects with a focus on the arts. Our broader goal is to bring people together across lines of difference to work together on the things they're passionate about.
Lupinewood Institute's current projects include Electro Acoustic Mechanics (EAM), an analog recording studio and practice space for local bands and musical artists, and Paper Ghost Print Shop, a screenprinting studio.
The Institute offers support in the form of resources, mentoring, and collaboration for fledgling projects and has in the past supported projects as diverse as a community garden and a wood shop.
We are also developing a residency program that will allow artists and organizers opportunities to work on projects while also engaging with the local public and facilitating cross-po;lination of ideas.
EAM regularly hosts events for local and traveling artists, and Paper Ghost plans for gallery shows as its capacity increases in the coming year.
