Mountain River Taiko is a community Japanese drumming group with a mission to share and promote the Japanese and Japanese-American art of taiko in the western Massachusetts region and beyond.
We are available for performances and workshops for a variety of venues, and periodically hold our own Try Taiko workshops and beginner classes. We believe strongly in the power of taiko to empower and unite, and are committed to cultivating interest in taiko and its cultural context.
