S.T. Gately

Artist / Creative (Individual)

S.T. Gately I am a 2D Mixed Media Visual Artist and Certified Freelance Visual Arts Educator. I received my BA at Hampshire College in Comparative Religion and Visual Art. I earned my M. ED at Lesley University in Teaching Visual Art. I recently transitioned from teaching at the Elementary level to teaching classes and workshops to adults. I am also a practicing and exhibiting Visual Artist based in Western Massachusetts. Most recently, I have been instructing classes and workshops at the Mill District Local Gallery, Madhouse Multi-Arts Center, the Northampton and Greenfield Senior Centers, the Center School, the Sunderland Public Library and the Northampton Center for the Arts. I am scheduled to instruct at Resilient Community Arts in Easthampton and the Easthampton Senior Center. In addition, in the last year, I have exhibited artwork at the Small Works Gallery in Holyoke, Bistro 63 in Amherst, the Mill District Local Art Gallery as well as had solo exhibitions at the Anchor House of Artists, the Sunderland Public Library and the Easthampton Media Lab.
