SELF. is a self taught artist based in Springfield, MA, who created an eponymous brand rooted in streetwear and graffiti. SELF., which is an acronym for Stay Elevated Live Free, was founded in 2016 with a mission to inspire and empower people to take charge of their own lives, starting with themSELF. Spray painting is her favorite creative outlet. By showcasing her works on social media, and networking with other artists she has been commissioned to paint over 7 murals inside local businesses, been invited to paint at several graffiti jams, the Leake Street Arches in London, and painted at Meeting of Styles festival in Peru. Her work has also landed her in a partnership with Common Wealth Murals, the only non-profit mural organization in Western Ma. SELF. also designs and manufactures clothing for her brand. She has been featured in 2 big fashion shows, in which the garments were sewn by herself and her partner. Since creating the brand, SELF has gained experience and knowledge across many fields due to shooting and editing her own content for marketing purposes. SELF.’s success as an artist thus far is due to her work ethic, dedication, and passion for her craft and culture. She only hopes to continue to improve and inspire others to reflect and do the same.
